Vadonia bisignata, a remarkable species occuring in Bulgaria, Greece and North Turkey, has been described from Peloponnese as Leptura bisignata by Auguste Gaspard Brullé in 1832 [✳]. Beetles, active in May and June, are diurnal and anthophilous.

Host plant:unknown, probably in roots of herbaceus plants as it is known in other congeners (cf. Vadonia unipunctata)
Distribution:Bulgaria, Greece, North Turkey

The depicted beetles were collected on various flowers in Kelefa (Κελεφά) village environs (East Mani municipality, Laconia, Peloponnese, Greece) on May 30, 2021.
