Agapanthia lederi hodeki, a taxon occuring in Elburs mountain ridge and Talysh mountains with foothills (Iran and Azerbaijan), has been described as by Mikhail Danilevsky in 2018 [▽]. A. l. hodeki is dedicated to our friend Karel Hodek, who collected the holotype and most part of the type series.
Body length: 12 - 18 mm Life cycle: 1 year Adults in: May - June Host plant: Sambucus ebulus [?] Distribution: Iran, Azerbaijan
The depicted beetles were collected on Sambucus ebulus in Rostamābād (رستم آباد) environs (1150 m a.s.l., Gilan province, North Iran) on May 23-25, 2018.Collected by Petr Jelínek
