Agapanthia (Epoptes) subnigra, a generally not very well known and collected species endemic to Georgia, has been described by Maurice Pic in 1910 [✮].

Body length:	12 - 15 mm
Life cycle:	1 year
Adults in:	May - June
Host plant:	Sambucus ebulus [?]
Distribution:	a species endemic to Georgia

The depicted beetles were collected on Sambucus ebulus 10 km SE Sairme (საირმე) spa town (70 km S Kutaisi, Imereti region, Georgia) on June 19, 2019.
