The semi-desert landscape covered by sparse vegetation including Ephedra shrubs (735 m a.s.l., Meghri environs, Arevik National Park, Syunik province, Southern Armenia) represents a typical habitat of Anoplistes agababiani (Danilevsky, 2000).
