Atlas cedar (Cedrus atlantica) forests in Mischliffen environs (1850-1950 m a.s.l., Middle Atlas Mts., 10 km E Azrou, Ifrane province, Fès-Meknès region, Morocco) - a habitat of rare Callidium cedri Peyerimhoff, 1917.
C. cedri larval development takes place under the bark of dead or dying cedars, where the larvae bore a typical wide flat galleries. Before the pupation, larva bore into the wood the hook-shape pupal cell.
