Dorcadion hybridum, species known from NE Greece and European part of Turkey, was described from "Balkan" by Ludwig Ganglbauer in 1884 [❖]. According to Pesarini C. & Sabbadini A. [✧], Dorcadion hedwigae Jureček, 1933 is the synonym to the Dorcadion hybridum.

The mounted beetles were captured in Petrochóri in Nomós Xánthis environs (67 m a.s.l., Thrace, East Macedonia, Greece) on May 16, 2016.
