Eunidia nebulosa, a widespread African faunistic element extending in the north of its distribution range to the Arabian Peninsula, has been described from Angola by Wilhelm Ferdinand Erichson in 1843 [✩]. Larval development unknown, adults are probably nocturnal and can be attracted by light [❖].

The depicted mounted specimen was collected in Kilaguni Lodge environs (800 m a.s.l., Tsavo National Park West, Kenya) on November 29, 1991.
