Oligoenoplus rosti, a species occuring in Japan and Kuril Islands (Russian Far East), has been described as Anaglyptus Rosti from Japan by Maurice Pic in 1911 [❖].

Adults in:June - August
Host plant:probably polyphagous in deciduous trees
Distribution:Russia (Kuril Islands), Japan


The depicted beetle was collected in the thermal cove (mouth of the stream Odinokyi/Одинокий) environs (N43°54′36″ E145°30′25″; Valentina creek valley, Kunashir/Кунаши́р island, Kuril Islands, Yuzhno-Kurilsky district, Sakhalin region, Russia) on August 3, 2011.
