Paratetrops warnckei, described from Akseki (Toros Mts., South Turkey) as Tetrops warnckei by Carolus Holzschuh in 1977 [❖], belongs among less known and only very occasionally collected species
of South Anatolian entomofauna. Taxon was included to a newly estabilished monotypical genus Paratetrops by Maxim A. Lazarev in 2024 [✳].
