Phytoecia transcaspica, relatively little known and collected Opsilia living in Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan), has been described from Balkan region of Turkmenistan by Ernst Fuchs in 1955 [▽].

The depicted beetle was collected in Turkmenistan.
