Phytoecia (Parobereina) vittipennis pravei was described as Phytoecia (Obereina) pravei by Nikolai N. Plavilstshikov
from Ordubad environs (nowadays in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan) in 1926 [❖]. Taxon was moved into a newly
estabilished subgenus Parobereina by Mikhail Danilevsky in 2018 [✩].
