Larvae and also immature adults of Rhamnusium bicolor testaceipenne were collected in hollows of a living and by cut heavily damaged poplars in allée located ca 1 km E of village Shoraveli (შორაველი, Adigeni district, Samtskhe-Javakheti region, Georgia). The biology of the subspecies is practically identical with biology of the nominate subspecies.
