Stenopterus kraatzi, a very rare endemic Antolian species, has been described from Izmir by Maurice Pic in 1892 [▽].
S. kraatzi biology will most likely be very similar to related species of the genus, the expected development in the wood
of deciduous trees (Ficus carica) was confirmed by Hüseyin Özdikmen in 2023 [✮]. S. kraatzi adults, active in May and June, are diurnal and anthophilous [✳].
