Agapanthia angelicae, a species occurring in Iran and Turkmenistan, has been described from Ashgabat (Turkmenistan) by Edmund Reitter in 1898 [✱]. According to Martin Rejzek et al. [❖] in Iran Agapanthia angelicae develops in Ferula hermonis (Apiaceae).
