Akimerus berchmansi berchmansi, a rare Cerambycid of oak forests occuring in Turkey and Syria, has been described from Hatay province of Turkey by Josef Breit in 1915 [▽]. Biology of the species is not known, but with high probability will be very similar to the sister species Akimerus schaefferi (Laicharting, 1784).
