The depicted mounted beetles and couplein copula were collected in Spišská Nová Ves environs (NE Slovakia) in June 2018. The living specimens were photographed in Modrava environs (Šumava Mts., Klatovy district, Plzeň region, West Bohemia, Czechia) on July 6, 2013, Nižbor environs (Beroun district, Central Bohemia, Czechia) June 27, 2009 and in Laax environs (Surselva district, Graubünden canton, Switzerland) on August 3, 2018.
