- A typical habitat of Arhopalus pinetorum - Canary Island pine forest in Bosquede la Esperanza environs (1685 m a.s.l., NE Tenerife).

- Dead Canary Island pine trunk - host of Arhopalus pinetorum, Cephalocrius syriacus and Oxypleurus nodieri.
