The depicted wadi situated about 5 km east of the town of Aourir, with its surrounding thickets with abundant Sideroxylon spinosum, this so called "argan woodland" is a typical habitat of Bolivarita oculata Escalera, 1914.

The argan tree (Sideroxylon spinosum) twig attacked by Bolivarita oculata Escalera, 1914. The pupal cell with sawdust plug and exit hole are well visible.
