Brachyta danilevskyi, a species occuring in South Kuril Islands, Sakhalin and Japan, has been described from Kunashir (Kuril Islands) by Sergei E. Tshernyshev and Vladimir V. Dubatolov in 2005 [▽]. The larval bionomy of the species is unknown, diurnal and anthophilous adults are active in June and July [✧].

The depicted beetles were collected in Grozovoe (Грозовое) settlement environs on Cape Ivanovsky (N43°50′28″ E145°24′29″; Kunashir Island, Yuzhno-Kurilsky district, Kuril Islands, Sakhalin Oblast, Far Eastern Federal District, Russia) on July 8-9, 2013.
