The picture show a very typical galleries with entrance/exit holes in spruce (Picea trunks and branches created by larvae/adults of Callidium violaceum (origin: Czechia).

The picture show almost destroyed parts of barn truss construction made from originally unpeeled pine (Pinus) wood. These parts served many years as food source for larvae of Callidium violaceum (origin: Czechia).
