Dorcadion oezdurali, an endemic and rare Anatolian Dorcadion-species, has been described by Birsen Önalp in 1988 [❖].

Body length:15 - 18 mm
Life cycle: 1 year
Adults in:April - July
Host plant:roots of herbaceous plants and grass
Distribution:an endemic species to Turkey


The depicted beetle was collected on the ground in low vegetation in the plateaus under summit of Nemrut Dagi Mt. (Adiyaman province, Anatolia, SE Turkey) on June 3-10, 1996 [✧].
