Dorcadion (Cribridorcadion) septemlineatum, a species occuring in Bulgaria, Greece, and Turkey, has been described from Turkey by Joseph Waltl in 1838 [❖].

Adults in:April - June
Host plant:roots and basal stem parts of Poaceae
Distribution:Bulgaria, Greece, Turkey


The depicted beetles were collected in upper parts of Smolikas (Σμόλικας) Mt. (2020 m a.s.l., Samarina environs, Pindus Mountains, Ioannina regional unit, Epirus, Greece) on June 8, 2011.
