Dorysthenes (Lophosternus) huegelii, a massive oriental species extending in the west of its range to Afghanistan and Pakistan, has been described from India (Jammu and Kashmir) as Cyrtognathus Hügelii by Ludwig Redtenbacher in 1848 [▽].

The depicted mounted male beetle was collected in Pir Chinasi shrine environs (Muzaffarabad district, Azad Kashmir, Pakistan) on July 7, 2012.
