Enaretta enaretta, an interesting representative of African entomofauna extending in the north of its distribution range to Egypt, has been described from Lake Ngami environs (Botswana) by James Thomson in 1864 [▽].

The depicted beetles were collected in Von Bach dam environs (S22°0′41″ E16°57′05″; Okahandja, Otjozondjupa Region, Namibia) on February 10, 2023.
