Phytoecia (Pseudocoptosia) eylandti, an interesting and not often collected Central-Asian Phytoecia-species, has been described as Phytoecia (Coptosia) Eylandti from Ashgabat environs (Turkmenistan) by Andrej P. Semenov Tian-Shanskij in 1891 [✧].

Depicted beetles were collected in: ♂ - Yavroz (Явроз) environs (Dushanbe region, Tajikistan) on April 24-30, 1981; ♀ - Takhtoul environs (Dushanbe reegion, Tajikistan) on April 19, 1980.
