Psilotarsus heydeni heydeni, known from montanne forests of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, has been described from Namangan environs (Uzbekistan) as Prionus Heydeni by Ludwig Ganglbauer in 1888 [▽].

Body length:♂♂ 17.4 - 45.5 mm / ♀♀ 30.5 - 50 mm
Life cycle:at least 3 years
Adults in:May - August
Host plant:polyphagous in rotten wood of deciduous trees
Distribution:Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan

The depicted beetle was collected in Almalyk environs (~10 km SSW Osh, N Alai Mt. range, Osh region, Kyrgyzstan).
