The living specimen was collected and photographed by P.Jelínek in Norio (ნორიო) environs (Kvemo Kartli region, Georgia) in May 2016. The depicted mounted beetle was collected by M.Rejze in Cankurtaran Gecidi E Hopa (NE Turkey). The mounted male beetle was collected by M.Harnych in Timotesubani monastery (ტიმოთესუბანი) environs (1200 m a.s.l., Borjomi district, Samtskhe–Javakheti region, Georgia) on May 27-28, 2018. The mounted female was captured by S.Dementyev in Nizhnyi Arkhyz village environs (700 m a.s.l., Zelenchuksky district, Karachay-Cherkessia, Russia) on June 14, 2010.
