Near Getahovit (altitude 1000 m; Ijevan, Tavush Province) we visited one of the most beautiful mountain forest-meadow habitats in Armenia. On flowers (Leucanthemum, Centaurea, Ranunculus, Chaerophyllum, Aegopodium) we found numerous species of beetles - e.g. Acmaeodera spp., Anthaxia bicolor, Cortodera spp., Batesiata tesserula, Fallacia elegans, Lampropterus femoratus or Chlorophorus figuratus. Unfortunately, thanks to coming heavy rains and a time pressure, we spent here only 2 hours (June 18, 2012).
